The admission procedure at Delhi Public School - Sohna, Gurugram is friendly and transparent. Registration is the first step for seeking admission in Sohna.
Registration (Online & Offline)
Parents may register their child either online or by visiting the school campus for offline registration.
Written Assessment
A written assessment is conducted for students seeking admission to Grade I and above. The assessment is age-appropriate and designed to understand the child’s learning readiness and academic skills.
Final Committee Decision
As part of the final selection, parents and students will meet with the Principal, Headmistress or the respective teacher before admission is confirmed.
Age Criteria (Age as on 1st April 2026)
• Montessori: Minimum age of 2 years
• Balvatika I (Nursery): Minimum age of 3 years
• Balvatika II (LKG): Minimum age of 4 years
• Balvatika III (UKG): Minimum age of 5 years
• Class I: Minimum age of 6 years
Admission to Classes Montessori to Balvatika III
- Admission to Montessori to Balvatika III is through informal interactions with the child and parents. These interactions help us understand each child’s unique personality and learning style in a warm and welcoming environment.
Admission to Classes I to VII
- DPS Sohna welcomes applications from curious and confident learners seeking admission to Classes I – VII.
- As a growing school community, we take time to understand each child’s unique strengths, interests and learning style through thoughtful interactions and age-appropriate assessments.
- Details regarding the interaction and academic assessment schedule for Classes I – VII will be shared at the time of registration.
