About The Delhi Public School Society
For over seven decades, the Delhi Public School Society has upheld the ideals of Service Before Self. Founded in 1949 with DPS Mathura Road, the Society has grown into a global network of 222 English-medium, co-educational schools committed to inclusive learning and anchored in values that extend beyond classrooms.
DPS Sohna is proud to be a satellite school of the DPS Society. Every aspect of our management, operations and ethos is guided by the Society, ensuring we inherit its strong governance, academic rigour and value-driven culture. We are supported at every step by their leadership and continue to grow under their vision.
Our Guiding Lights
- Shri B.K. Chaturvedi, Chairman — Padma Bhushan awardee and former Cabinet Secretary of India, he is respected for his distinguished service in governance and for shaping key national policy initiatives.
- Shri V.K. Shunglu, Vice Chairman — Padma Bhushan awardee and former Comptroller and Auditor General of India, he is admired for his integrity, leadership and lasting contribution to public accountability.
- Ms Namita Pradhan, Treasurer — Former IAS officer, she served in senior positions with the Government of Maharashtra and Government of India, and later held leadership roles at the World Health Organization in Geneva.
The DPS Society remains steadfast in its mission to educate not only minds but also hearts, shaping responsible global citizens through a legacy of excellence and service.
